As our test system (16.04) we use an AMD A8-3870. Radeon grapics are integrated (Radeon HD6550D). At first we did not install proprietary AMD drivers. After first start BricsCAD v16 showed 100% CPU core usage while rapitly increasing RAM usage. After killing BricsCAD and rebooting this problem was over. However the crosshair remained on screen as a stamp. Next step: Settings > Settings > Program options > Display > GL Swap Mode to "Call glCopyPixels to copy back to front, don't call glXSwapBuffers."
